HOTEL EXTENSION

A hotel near Marktl is to be enlarged due to the increasing growth of tourism. For this purpose, the opposite and neighbouring building plot is to be developed. The expansion includes flats and common rooms as well as the extension of the hotel infrastructure for employees. POWERBAR

4th semester project - An old barracks area near the Frankfurter Ring is to be completely redeveloped. The project envisages a modern urban development concept that integrates with the surrounding infrastructure. The aim is to set innovative impulses that will revive the previously outdated industrial area on Munich's northern development axis. The concept takes up the idea of the Bilbao effect, which has an overarching impact on the surrounding area. A total of 105,000m^2 is planned.

A CONCEPT FOR FUTURE LIVING

3rd semester project - Residential concept with a commercial unit and basement. The design is based on a fictitious urban grid concept, with several blocks of buildings lined up. "A concept for future living" pursues the claim of meeting the south orientation via the open facades on both sides. To this end, modern, moderate and organised living must be designed in the extremely limited space (12x12x12). All functional spaces are hidden in a space strip on the rear walls in order to give the two main volumes as much presence and space as possible.

2nd semester project - The youth centre at the old southern cemetery offer new space to create, live and meet. To cope with the different interests and challenges of everyday, different activities have been divided into levels. Above open and spacious rooms for noise and gossip, there are secluded quiet work spaces for resting and lingering with a view of nature.

TICKET SALE BOOTH

A temporary ticket sales stand is to be designed for the famous J.S. Bach Foundation concerts in the cult village of Trogen near St. Gallen. Decisive for the design and the idea of the sphere as a body in which the sale is completely handled is the permanently rising and falling topography. In addition, the chrome reflecting surface of the sphere is to reflect the conical bright spots of the alleys.
